The City of Oakland has a full-time opening for Public Works Labor I. Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Need general knowledge of water treatment and distribution system operations and maintenance; sewer operations and maintenance; street maintenance; working knowledge of equipment operations, maintenance and repair; ability to follow written and oral instructions; minimum of Grade II water treatment certification required, ability to obtain Grade II water distribution and Grade I wastewater certifications. Will be required to be in an on call rotation. Salary negotiable based on qualifications.
