The Sioux City Wastewater Treatment plant is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Operator-In-Training to join our team.
Under guidance and direction of the WWTP Operations Supervisor or WWTP Lead Operator, in a training capacity, learns and assists wit5h the operation, maintenance and repair of the Wastewater Treatment Plant and related facilities and equipment.

The position will work an assigned eight-hour shift: either 7:00am - 3:00pm or 3:00pm - 11:00pm, or 11:00pm - 7:00am to include occasional holidays. The shift may include a weekend day. Employee in this position may also be required to work overtime and fill in on a different shift.
Employee must be able to obtain an Iowa Grade 1 Wastewater Operator Certificate from the State of Iowa within 24 months of hire.
Required - a valid driver license.
Our employees are required to reside within 10 miles of the City of Sioux City limits which extends to adjoining states of Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.
