The City of Sioux City is looking for a Compliance Technician at the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) to join our team!

Individual will perform general compliance monitoring, site inspections and laboratory analysis as part of the Industrial Pretreatment and Fats, Oil and Grease (FOG) program.

Must possess a valid drivers license throughout length of employment. Must obtain an Iowa Grade 1 Wastewater Certification within 24 months of date of hire.

While the Compliance Technician may work a typical Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. schedule, the position will require flexible schedules when necessary, including evenings and weekends.

Our employees are required to reside within 10 miles of the City of Sioux City limits which extends to other states: Nebraska and South Dakota.
