One position available for either a Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Project Manager (P.M.) (Depending on Qualifications)
Ideal candidate will have PE License and significant facilities and infrastructure design and construction experiences. Exposure and expertise with project management or other engineering design and construction activities within the municipal arena will also be welcomed.
Professional Engineer Salary Range - $93,763.32 - $124,705.22
Project Manager Salary Range - $116,042.94-154,337.10

QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Engineer: Under the direction of the Engineering Supervisor, serves as project engineer, conducts studies, designs improvements to water distribution systems, treatment facilities, and processes, grounds facilities, and provides technical assistance during construction.
Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering.
Experience: At least four years of experience in designing general, civil, environmental, structural, mechanical, electrical, chemical, and/or process improvements, including experience in managing all phases of projects from conception to completion.
Licenses/Certifications: Licensed Professional Engineer (PE). Valid Iowa Driver's License with good driving record.
Project Manager: Under the general direction of the Engineering Supervisor; develops, leads and ensures the timely completion of medium to large technical implementation project and various special projects. This will include, but not be limited to. project planning, project scheduling, resource management, financial management, and communication.
Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering
Experience: At least four years progressive engineering experience, with two years in design and construction of major water treatment, distribution, facilities, and process-related projects. Must include working in a team environment, with accountability for resource and finances. An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be submitted.
Licenses/Certifications: Active registration in Iowa as a Professional Engineer (PE). Valid Iowa Driver's License with a good driving record.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience designing and constructing water system improvement projects.
IDNR Grade II Water distribution Operator and/or Grade II water Treatment License.
Master of Science in Engineering.
