Job Location: 204 Center Ave N, Mitchellville, IA 50169
Recruitment Period: Open until filled
This is a full time position that works in all departments under the Public Works Director. Includes the water plant, wastewater facility, road repairs, snow removal, mowing, cemetery maintenance, and more duties too numerous to mention. This position requires working in all types of weather conditions and using a wide variety of equipment.
Priority will be given to applicants that have already obtained certification in Water Treatment, Water Distribution, and/or Waste Water.
The City will provide all educational materials, fees, and training time to obtain the licenses and certifications that will be required.
Starting pay will be based on qualifications. The City of Mitchellville offers a full benefit package, including health/dental/life insurance, IPERS, holidays and vacation.
